Comedy Clubs?
Mar. 8th, 2008 02:32 amThis is a rare public post that /isn't/ related to Radio Free Gallifrey...
Friends, Romans, lend me your ears...
That's disgusting.
Seriously, tho, Men in Tights gags aside, I am looking for information on comedy clubs and festivals all over the country and in southern Canada, particularly contact information for booking, websites, anything that will get me in contact with good spaces and events for an acquaintance of mine to get his sorry comedic ass booked for a North American tour. Y'see, he's English, so only a tour would really be feasible.
I'm eyeballing the following 'must do' cities for now, although I will accept comments regarding other cities: NY, LA, Chicago, San Francisco, DC, Seattle, Atlanta, Dallas, Cincinnati, Reno, Minneapolis, Philly, Pittsburgh, Boston, St. Louis, New Orleans, Miami, Denver, Toronto, Montreal.
Any info anyone can give me will be of help, particularly those comedic or celtic music acts I know (HI GRANT AND MARC!) who could make suggestions or give pointers on how to get this silly bass player in touch with booking folks and all that.
Please comment here or email me at phoenix AT spundreams DOT net.
Cheers!
